Yes concentration is great and definitely something your child should practice, but activity should be a big part of your child’s day too.

I consider medication to be the very last option. I think everyone has things they are good at and areas they are not. Why should we make the fish climb and a monkey dive? Sometimes they simply need a schedule full of activity and a little quiet time in between, instead of the other way around.
